So the mighty Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band stormed in Philadelphia this week to play their final concerts ever at the "dead-venue-walking" Spectrum. And based on the setlists and some You Tube clips, these shows were monsters. Like them whipping out The Clash's London Calling from a sign request! See for yourselves below. Gotta love The Boss!

I Feel A Change Coming On
People come to music for all kinds of reasons. But the main reason for any true music fan is that it makes them feel better. If we're sad, a happy song may lift our spirits or a sad song may make us feel not so alone in our thoughts.

And with fantastic new releases by the likes of Bob Mould, Steve Earle, Prince, Neil Young, The Church, and Bob Dylan; good music has kept my spirit alive. Clip of the Day
For you listening and viewing enjoyment, here is a great clip of Cowboy Junkies with guest Ryan Adams. This is taken from the officially released Trinity Revisited which also features guest Natalie Merchant. It's a great release and this is simply one of my favorite songs of all time.

New Sonic Youth Track-Calming the Snake
Sonic Youth performed a great new song from their forthcoming disc last weekend in Chile. The track is a killer 3 minute blast with Kim Gordan taking lead vocals. That's always a good thing in my book. I already love the song and can't wait for the new disc to leak, I mean go on sale in June.
As an added video bonus, check out Sonic Youth freaking out Middle-America from their first ever US TV appearance on David Letterman.
